Heroes Reborn Episode 2

In episode 2 of Heroes Reborn they really started to establish the story line of the season.  They introduced a problem, and gave each character their own story arch. Much more eventful than the premiere. 

Ratings wise episode 2 dropped from 2.0 to 1.6 which is probably more than NBC wanted it to fall. It lost out to Greys Anatomy and the NFL pre game show. It still was 3rd in its time slot beating out Bones and The Flash, but I'm sure with it not having to compete with Scandal, ABC's biggest show of the night NBC was hoping for something closer to 2. 

Personally while I am still really enjoying the show I fear they are doing too much that new audiences will get lost in. Bringing in and ill using to original characters of Heroes without explaining who they are. That's an easy way to lose people who didn't watch the original show.  I think they are hoping that the strength of their new characters and their story lines will be enough to keep new viewers in.
